Waterware's Pioneering Projects in Aged-Care Facilities

Waterware has recently completed a series of innovative projects for aged-care facilities, as detailed in our three-part article series. These articles, available on our website, showcase Waterware's expertise in providing advanced heating and cooling solutions.

Christchurch Aged-Care Facility Upgrade: Waterware highlights two notable projects in Christchurch aged-care facilities. The first project involved upgrading a facility's underperforming underfloor heating system with Vaillant aroTHERM heat pumps, significantly improving both the heating and hot water systems for enhanced efficiency and reliability. This upgrade uniquely integrated a cooling function into the existing system, a novel feature in the market, providing comfort during summer.

The second facility's project similarly focused on a reliable solution that could provide heating, cooling and hot water. Through these initiatives, Waterware demonstrated its commitment to innovative, energy-efficient solutions that enhance comfort and reduce running costs in aged-care environments.

Hybrid Solution in Palmerston North: The third article explores a project in Palmerston North, where an aging gas-fired plant was replaced with a hybrid gas and heat pump solution. This transition not only guaranteed performance but also aligned with the client's decarbonisation goals. The solution leveraged advanced hybrid control and radiant cooling, utilising Ritter high-temperature heat pumps and Vaillant gas boilers.

These articles highlight Waterware's commitment to innovative, sustainable solutions in hot water and heating systems. For a detailed look at how we’re revolutionising aged-care facility environments, visit our website for the full articles.
